PARKING

Parking for visitors is available only on the Terraces, the lot to the west of the Lab. Note that a temporary permit is required. (Parking is strictly enforced!).

We suggest that meeting participants:

  • Carpool to the entrance of the SSL Addition where most meetings will be held. Please do not leave your vehicle unattended in the drive in front of the SSL Addition -- this is a bus loading zone.
  • Unload passengers,briefcases, laptops, etc.
  • Obtain parking permit.
  • Proceed to the Terraces lot.

To get to the Terraces lot:

  • Exit the SSL driveway.
  • Turn left on Centennial Drive.
  • Proceed downhill for about 250 yards.
  • Turn left into the second driveway.

Note that there are four levels in this parking lot, but SSL visitors are allowed to park only on the lower three levels. (The top level is reserved for the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute.)

There are wooden stairs from the top level of the lot up to SSL: 100 of them! At the top, turn right towards the parking lot of the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, cross the lot, then proceed up the driveway to the left to reach the SSL buildings.
